A Different Connection

The way you interact with your grandparent has to change when they have Alzheimer's disease. They no longer are able to pick you up from school, take you shopping, or keep tabs on your day-to-day life. It may be frustrating when they do not remember important things about you - or even scarier- they do not remember your name. Just because your grandparent can't talk to you or play with you like they once did does not mean they no longer love you. Your relationship with your grandparent will look different than it did before they had Alzheimer's. Do not worry, we will take you through the steps and make it an easy and exciting experience.
